If you have ever worked within the construction environment you will be fully aware that the roles of an individual skill set have long gone. Employers require people to be able to work across disciplines and have an understanding of many roles within the trade. This course provides you with key industry knowledge that will help you to better understand the variety of roles within the construction world, including the principles around Health and Safety, which is crucial within this industry. You will also spend time on Plastering; Painting; Plumbing Skills; CSCS; Electrical Operations; Environmental Awareness as well as the key industry knowledge behind these disciplines. The world of construction is moving very fast, and new technologies and methods of working are being introduced all of the time. The key purpose of this programme is to get you better prepared for working within a construction related job, we believe this training will support this and provide you with hands on experience and enable you to demonstrate your abilities.
This training programme is fully funded to those aged 19 and over, unemployed and in receipt of benefits.
This programme is full time and runs for two weeks.
