Jobseeker Short Courses

Group Horizon work with those seeking employment to offer skills and guidance in support of their job search. Our short courses are designed to fulfil the needs of local businesses by targeting skills and recruitment gaps. Group Horizon work with the Department of Work and Pensions, Community Groups, Employment Support Groups and other charities to deliver programmes to individuals over the age of 18 that offer real hands on experience and qualifications to help achieve sustainable employment.

We are committed to offering up-skilling or retraining to all those who have been affected by the economic climate. We also offer careers advice to those who are looking to gain a new skill or national qualification.

A range of funded courses providing different pathways are on available for those seeking work and claiming certain benefits.

Our courses are designed with experience and transferrable skills in mind, working to improve your employability. On completion of the training programme you will continue to receive relevant job search assistance via email bulletins and job matching for key employers.
