Entry requirement

You don’t need any specific qualifications to become a Smart Meter Installer but any previous experience you may have will be considered when putting your training package together. Most employers will be looking for individuals with a full driving license and you will be expected to complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Services) check before you can work in peoples homes.
